The Return
A Guided Rest Session
A space to lay it all down and return to yourself.
What We Do
Liberation Rooted Healing was created from lived experience. As a Black woman, a mother, and someone who understands what it means to carry a lot for a long time, I created this space with care and intention for women who need room to breathe.
This is not a luxury retreat or an escape. It is a local, intentional space where Black women, mothers, and caregivers can rest, release, and return to themselves without pressure, performance, or expectation.
You do not have to show up perfectly here. You only have to come as you are. With flexible pricing options including Standard Seats, Supporter Seats, and Haven Seats, Liberation Rooted Healing is committed to making rest and restoration more accessible to the women who have been holding so much for so long.
Seat Options
In this space, pricing is about care, not pressure.
Each seat helps hold the room in a different way.
Standard Seat – 125
For women who are able to cover the regular cost of their seat.
This sustains the gathering and the space we’re creating together.
Supporter Seat – 175
For women who have the capacity to give a little more.
Your seat helps cover your place and supports Haven Seats for others.
Haven Seats – no cost
A small number of seats are held at no cost from the beginning.
If you feel called to be in the room and need this support, there is space for you.
Some women are giving more.
Some are paying the standard rate.
Some are being held.
Everyone belongs here.
What the day includes
Across five unhurried hours together (10:00 AM–3:00 PM), you can expect:
Opening Circle & Agreements
We begin in circle with a warm welcome, simple agreements for safety, and a chance to name what you need from the day. Sharing is always optional; you are never required to speak more than you want to.
Guided Reflection & “What I’ve Been Carrying” Ritual
Through gentle reflection and journaling, you’ll name some of what you’ve been holding—roles, worries, expectations, and stories that have built up over time. Then, in a simple bowl ritual, you’ll place those burdens in a shared bowl and are invited to let this space help hold them with you for the next five hours. From there, you’ll write about a different question: What would support feel like now?
Held and Covered: Guided Rest (Signature Segment)
At the heart of the day is Held and Covered, a long, lying‑down rest practice with lavender eye masks, soft blankets, and quiet music in a room held just for you. In this spacious pause, your only job is to breathe, soften, and let your body experience being supported instead of constantly “on duty.”
Nourishment & Quiet Integration
We share a light, unhurried lunch together (included), followed by protected time for quiet integration—journaling, resting, or simply breathing so your body and heart can catch up with each other. No one needs anything from you here.
Community Reflection & Closing Circle
After time with yourself, you’ll have the option to share in a gentle community circle about what this season has asked of you and what rest means now. We close with a simple integration prompt so you leave with one small, doable way to tell yourself “I also matter” in your everyday life.
